For the fourth consecutive year, the Mexican Wind Energy Association (AMDEE) organised the National Photography Competition “My life and the wind”, which aims to show the daily life in wind farms throughout Mexico.
Young people from Agua Prieta complete the preparation of instructors and volunteers for the summer course
During the last month, our management and community outreach team from the Naco Nogales combined-cycle power station in Agua Prieta trained 35 young volunteers from the community (including Día Solidario scholarship recipients from the three high schools in Agua Prieta, volunteers from the 2022 summer course and children of plant employees) in collaborative work, active listening, group management, experiential learning and leadership.

On the 8th of June we made a donation of 150 work coats to the Bebeleche Museum in Durango, Mexico, for the current group of volunteers, so that they have a uniform, team identity and are comfortable when meeting visitors.

On May 27, some of our colleagues from Mexico City and Norte Durango CCP visited the Nakú Kayám Sea Turtle Camp at Villamar Beach in Tuxpan to take part in an environmental education activity and volunteer to clean up 800 metres of beach.
We increase our presence in Australia with a new wind farm becoming operational
We have begun to operate our third wind farm in Australia, Berrybank 2, increasing the company’s total installed capacity in the country to 395 MW. We have also recently inaugurated the ACT Battery in Australia, the group’s first utility-scale battery energy storage facility worldwide.
